This position requires a lot of one-on-one work, so we're looking for a candidate who will enjoy working with individuals who require assistance with daily tasks as well as rehabilitation and recovery.

The ideal candidate enjoys helping patients return to their highest level of function and will perform duties in accordance with their professional standards.
Responsibilities:
Work with patients and their family to overcome language and learning challenges.
Use therapy to provide for speech, language, cognitive and social-emotional development of patients and to help them gain skills necessary for functioning.
Work with patients and their families to understand the nature of communication disorders and the need for treatment.
Develop treatment plans based on data gathered from tests, observations and assessments.
Work with patients and families in order to meet educational goals.
Perform duties from the office or from home, including working with patients and their families via telephone.
