SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $55,694.
69 to $90,333.
78 for Schedule A, and $55,694.
69 to $85,817.
10 for Schedule B.
For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.
For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.
The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth.
Travel within the tri-county vicinage will be required.
This position may be reassigned to another county within the vicinage.
Should another position become available within the next five months of the closing date of this recruitment, the applicant pool from this posting may be used to fill additional positions.
REMOTE WORK:
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Example of Duties The Vicinage Finance Division is seeking a finance professional with strong analytical, technical and administrative skills to perform accounting, financial and administrative functions.
Under the direction of the Vicinage Finance Division Manager and the Assistant Finance Division Manager, this individual will perform various accounting and financial functions, including, but not limited to:
account analysis and reconciliation; cash control, financial audits and modifications; interpreting accounting and financial data; and preparing and monitoring reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
The selected candidate should be able to keep up-to-date with new developments and recommend improvements in operating procedures and work processes; possess excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills; have the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines; have the ability to be flexible; be committed to quality service and following through on commitments; work in a team environment; and do related work as assigned.
Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree including or supplemented by 21 credit hours in accounting, business administration, economics, public administration and/or finance.
Twelve (12) of these credit hours must be in accounting.
Substitution:
Applicants who do not possess the required education, but do possess the 21 accounting, business administration, economics, public administration, and/or finance credit hours, including 12 accounting credit hours, may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
