Work directly for the in-house Quality Control Manager.
Requirements 3
years' experience in the structural steel fabrication industry.
Field erection experience is helpful, but not required.
Have a working knowledge of the AISC standards Have experience performing weld, bolt and paint inspections and testing.
CWI is helpful, but not required.
Ability to check fabrication against plans, specifications, codes and shop standards.
Prepare all paperwork and documentation and coordinate with 3rdparty inspectors.
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.
Be flexible and adaptable team player.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Strong organizational & communication skills.
Ability to read Architectural and Structural Construction drawings.
