Job Details
MAJOR FUNCTION:
Provides professional nursing services to patients requiring psychiatric nursing care. Able to
assess the physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients. Develops, implements, and
evaluates a plan of care based on those assessments. Capable of delegating appropriate
tasks and supervising ancillary staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of three years psychiatric inpatient nurse experience.
Certification:
Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing. ANCC Certification and BSN
preferred. Must attain Crisis Screening Certification within the first 12 months of
employment.
