OUR MISSION: To provide high quality health services that improve the lives of all we serve.
MAJOR FUNCTION: Directly responsible for overall management and operation of the Elmer Gift Shop,
and Volunteer Services, Elmer and Bridgeton. This includes, but is not limited to,
overseeing the buying, merchandising, accounting and staffing involved in running both
retail establishments. Also oversees the hospital volunteer department including the
placement, training, recognition and evaluation of the hospital volunteers as well as
those who work in the Gift Shop and coordinates Information Desk staff.
QUALIFICATION:
A. Education: Experience in retail, business, and marketing. Four year college degree.
B.
Experience: Three to five years experience in retail operation and shop management, computer knowledge. Effective leader with proven success in working with people, preferably with volunteers. Excellent training skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills (oral and written). Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Knowledge of general accounting. .
C. Certification/Licensure: Certified Administrator of Volunteer Services
D. Physical Requirements: Must be able to open, lift and unpack boxes and transport merchandise to the gift shop by cart.
